I’m using hp EliteBook 2760p, it is about 9 years old machine and it does not support windows 11. But don’t worry, we will pass tpm, we will pass ufi mode, we will pass processor and we will install windows 11 and receive full support for security and driver updates from Microsoft at the end of this video. Trust me, this method will work 100% for everyone.
But before then, windows 11 stable version is out already as of October 5th, 2021. But quite unfortunately, a whole lot of PCs are not supported from windows 11 and you cannot upgrade officially to windows 11 on that hardware. The only way you could install windows 11 on an unsupported pc is to download the ISO file and run the installation on your pc.
But the biggest downside to this option is that, Microsoft has stated that, you will not get future security or driver updates if you go for this option. And this is the architecture of our problem we’re going to solve today and lets dig straight away into solving it. Don't worry, we will work around this and you can still enjoy full features of Windows 11 just like a supported PC.
STEP 1: Dowload Windows 11 ISO file if you don't already have it from Microsoft ππ HERE
STEP 2: Mount the ISO file( Create a bootable usb drive with the iso file or you can extract it using winrar)
STEP 3: Download the appraisers file ππ HERE( this file is what I modified to perform the magic).
Extract this file using WinRAR. Right click and copy the extracted file into your clipboard.
STEP 4: Go into your bootable drive or the mounted iso file, locate the 'sources folder', right click any empty space inside the sources folder and paste the aprrasisers file the you copied in step 3.
When a popup messages appears agree and click on replace files.
Exit the window and now run the installation or setup with your modified bootable drive and it will 100% go through successfully.
