Fix Windows Boot Manager Annoying Message on Startup. Boot Faster Into Windows Than Before.

Alright, today we're going to get rid of the annoying message from windows Boot Manager that pops up on your screen on start-up.  See picture below.

This particular error sometimes happens when you’ve ran clean installation on your device. This process takes some time and thus delays your windows start-up time and slows boot times.

If you face this particular problem and your device slows booting into Windows, then this is the right article for you. Sick to the end of this piece and you should be able to increase your windows boot speed and boot straight into your windows in seconds. If you're good at reading then continue with the article. You can watch the video instead if you love to.

Fix Windows Boot Manager Annoying Message on Startup. Boot Faster Into Windows Than Before.

Okay right let's get started with the article. There are two ways of doing it okay so let's begin with the first one.

Press your windows logo key plus R on your keyboard. Type ‘msconfig’ in the box that appears and hit the ‘Enter key’.

The next window will pop up and basically this is the boot manager.  Once this window pops up just click on boot as shown below.

The first one is my default operating system and the second one is the erroneous one okay right so in your case if you have so many of them just select the erroneous ones and get rid of them by deleting them. Select the one you want to delete and then click on delete.

Another way of doing it if you don't want to delete the erroneous one, just select your default operating system and come down here to the delay time and decrease the start-up time. In my case I will just put three seconds so what it means is that boot manager will have to wait three seconds before booting into windows.

But the erroneous one is irrelevant in my case here so I’ll just select it and delete it. In that case, the boot manager will boot straight into windows leaving no option for me to choose between my default operating system and the erroneous one.

When you’re done with the changes, click on apply and click on ok, all right, so this mini window will pop up okay so if you want to restart now to apply the settings or you want to apply the settings later on. But we will want to restart latter

Alright so that is the first way of doing it so let’s look at the second method too.  Go to your start menu and click on settings.  So, once you're on settings click on system.

Once you click on system just scroll down to ‘About’

okay right, so once you're on about just come down here to advanced system settings and click on it

Another way of getting the advanced system settings if you don't want to go through this long process okay just go to your windows search and search for ‘advanced system setting’

Once you’re in system settings, go to start-up and recovery at the bottom and click on settings.

I have only one operating system here because I deleted the erroneous one earlier in the first method so it will not show up here again.  if you still have the erroneous one and you click on the down pointing arrow you should get the right one to select as your default operating system okay.

Alright so once you have that selected has your defaults operating system right so just come down here to the delay time and then you can decrease it okay right, so I’ll just put only three seconds so that means that the boot manager will delay three seconds before booting into your windows okay.

If you don't just want to delay any seconds at all but you just want to put straight into your windows then uncheck this box so in this case boot manager would boot straight into windows without delaying.

That is the second way of doing it okay right so once you're done with that just come here and click on ok to apply the changes and exit the window. But before you go remember to restart your device to apply the settings

Once you've done that the next time you will boot your device, boot manager boots straight into windows without delaying. So that's the two ways of dealing with this annoying pop-up message on your windows on start-up. Aright so thanks so much for sticking out with me today and take good care of yourself but before you go remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel: Pau-TECtips   and like okay, right so until we meet again goodbye.
